Julia joined SYSO during the summer of 2022 as the company’s first Operations Engineer. In this role, Julia helps ensure that SYSO’s portfolio of renewable energy assets are monitored 24/7 and that controls systems are performing as efficiently as possible. She is a key part of an operations team that manages the implementation and scheduling of battery control systems across multiple markets in North America.

After graduating from Tufts University with a double-major in Environmental Studies and Mathematics, Julia knew she wanted to put her passion for fighting climate change to work in the renewable energy sector. As part of her academic program, Julia completed studies on the human impact on climate as well as analyzing the equity of power plant distribution, among other environmentally-focused projects. She is a great fit at SYSO and is excited to help the team continue to grow and thrive.

Julia hails from Minnesota originally and currently lives in Somerville, MA.
