Doug is a Director of Energy Markets at SYSO Technologies. He joined the company in the fall of 2022 because he’s passionate about the energy transition and saw the need to help renewable energy and battery energy storage developers and offtakers participate in the complex and ever-changing landscape of regulated electricity markets.

Before joining SYSO, Doug worked in various capacities on the Energy Markets team at Enel X (formerly EnerNOC) for 12 years, including a 2-year stint overseas in Melbourne, Australia. Most recently, Doug led the Mid-Atlantic Energy Markets team at Enel X, where he oversaw the participation of the company’s 2.5+ GW of demand response (DR) and distributed energy resource (DER) customers in PJM’s wholesale electricity markets as well as various utility-specific programs.

Doug holds an MEM from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Tufts University. He currently lives in Boston, MA.
