Dan is Senior Vice President of Energy Markets at SYSO Technologies. Dan joined SYSO in 2022 to help accelerate the transition of our electric grid towards clean energy solutions.

Dan brings experience to SYSO from his work in the demand response (DR) and solar industries. During his time at EnerNOC (acquired by Enel), Dan oversaw the company’s wholesale market strategy and presented on electricity market design before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and Department of Energy Electricity Advisory Committee (DOE EAC). He also led the company’s participation in the PJM capacity market, including DR asset registration, forward auction participation, bilateral trades, and market settlement.

In addition to his time at EnerNOC, Dan worked in commercial solar project development at NRG and SunPower, helping the companies assess new solar and storage market opportunities both domestically and internationally. He also worked in corporate finance roles at several venture-backed and public technology companies.

Dan holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Environmental Engineering from Harvard University. He lives with his wife and two children in Medford, MA.
