Senior Business Development Manager

JD is Senior Business Development Manager with SYSO. JD joined in July 2024 to further grow SYSO’s client base. The BD team serves as the “face” of SYSO, selling the value of SYSO’s energy markets, data science, engineering and operations teams.

JD brings nearly 20 years of experience in the technology sector to his role at SYSO, with a strong track record in energy markets, digital transformation, and PropTech innovation. With EnerNOC from 2008-2014, JD worked primarily in the PJM and ERCOT markets, with 18 months spent in Perth, Australia. He then spent six years in strategic roles at Johnson Controls and Siemens Building Technologies, driving growth in their Digital Enterprise divisions. JD also contributed to two PropTech startups, where he honed his early-stage sales and go-to-market expertise.

JD holds a BA in Environmental Studies and Political Science from the University of Vermont, an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University, and a Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) from CoreNET. He is LEED GA accredited through the USGBC.
